Ida Pellegrini
Ida embodies the spirit of the Pellegrini brand through her strong Italian-American values, making those who come her way feel like famiglia. Wife of second-generation patriarch Vincent Pellegrini and the mother of Robert, Richard and Jeanne, Ida has been responsible for entertaining the guests and clients of Pellegrini for more than 60 years. Her acclaimed culinary abilities are in evidence throughout the tasting room and Wine Club recipe cards. She is also an avid traveler who can sometimes be found leading Pellegrini wine trips. Ida has eight grandchildren.

Robert Pellegrini
Owner / Managing Director
Robert Pellegrini leads the vineyard, winemaking, sales and distribution efforts. A member of the third generation in the Pellegrini family business he has almost forty years experience in various capacities of the wine industry. After graduating from Santa Clara University in 1971, his studies in viticulture and enology brought him to U.C. Davis and the company’s role as an importer enabled him to spend a good deal of time in Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Italy. Today, most of his time is spent in the vineyards and at the winery in Sonoma, or traveling across the U.S. as company’s spokesman. In life beyond the vine, his interests include cycling, an occasional round of golf, walking the dog, and cooking for small groups of friends and family. Bob and his wife Susan have been married since 1978 and have three children, Laura, Alexia, and Vincent.

Richard Pellegrini
Owner / CFO
Richard is the financial manager of the winery and the business offices in South San Francisco. In addition, he is responsible for the direct-to-consumer wine sales effort, having launched the successful Pellegrini Family Vineyards Wine Club, interactive website and tasting room. Known for his taste and style, Richard is the leading force in hospitality at the winery and at the family’s signature Wine Club events; he relishes in ensuring that each visitor receives the high-quality service for which Pellegrini Family Vineyards is known. Fluent in Italian and active in the Bay Area Italian-American community, he is a board member for the Salesian Boys and Girls Club in San Francisco and is involved with many organizations including the Italian American Community Services Agency and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. He and his wife Janet have been married since 1976 with two children, Kathryn and Michael and a grandchild, Julia.

Jeanne Pellegrini
Owner / Property Manager
Jeanne, a member of the third generation that now runs Pellegrini Family Vineyards, manages the properties of the winery. She enjoys sharing her excellent cooking abilities and philanthropic spirit at numerous hospitality and community relations events. A graduate of Santa Clara University and fluent in Italian, Jeanne often travels to Italy bringing back great treasures and culinary inspirations for the tasting room and Wine Club recipe cards. She is also active with the local Italian community, managing picnics and dinners supporting Italian culture through the Madonna del Lume society. As Captain of Team Pellegrini Family Vineyards at the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Race for the Cure, each year Jeanne and her family rally friends and the Pellegrini Wine Club to race and raise funds to fight breast cancer. Mother to Nicole, Barbara and Marco, Jeanne also looks after five cats and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bentley, who is often found holding court at the winery with his Cavalier cousins Spencer and Oliver.
