Robert PellegriniManaging DirectorRobert Pellegrini leads the vineyard, winemaking, sales and distribution efforts. A member of the third generation in the Pellegrini family business he has almost forty years experience in various capacities of the wine industry. After graduating from Santa Clara University in 1971, his studies in viticulture and enology brought him to U.C. Davis and the company’s role as an importer enabled him to spend a good deal of time in Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Italy. Today, most of his time is spent in the vineyards and at the winery in Sonoma, or traveling across the U.S. as company’s spokesman. In life beyond the vine, his interests include cycling, an occasional round of golf, walking the dog, and cooking for small groups of friends and family. Bob and his wife Susan have been married 29 years and have three children, Laura, Alexia, and Vincent. |

Kevin HamelWinemakerKevin brings more than 25 years of hand-crafted winemaking experience to the Pellegrini team, and draws upon this knowledge to produce elegant, balanced wines reflective of their region. Kevin joined Pellegrini Family Vineyards in April 2005 to collaborate with the associate winemakers to develop wine styles distinctive of the three Pellegrini Sonoma properties. Previously, he worked as the head winemaker for Preston Family Vineyards and served as a consultant for many small wineries. He currently makes a small production of his own Hamel Wines at the Pellegrini winery. Kevin holds a BS in Fermentation Science from UC Davis. |

Daniel FitzgeraldCellarmasterDan Fitzgerald joined the Pellegrini winemaking team in January 2008. A Northern California native, he lived in Europe from 1981 to 1994. His passion for winemaking began after working a harvest in the Dry Creek Valley in 2002. Taking advantage of both hemispheres, Dan worked back-to-back vintages in Australia at Coldstream Hills in the Yarra Valley, Robert Sinskey Vineyards in Napa Valley, then back down under to lead a team of cellarhands at Coldstream Hills. Dan completed his B.S. in Enology at CSU Fresno in 2007, and worked on the 2007 harvest team at Williams-Selyem Winery before joining Pellegrini Family Vineyards. |
